Who this is for

Honest match per persona.

Good for

  • Recreational Player

Native Mac and iOS support is rare in this price range. Polished SkyTrak software with easy course play.

  • Family Setup

Polished SkyTrak software is forgiving for non-technical household members. Ambidextrous play possible with a unit move; native Mac and iOS apps don't lock you to a single OS.

  • Performance Seeker

GOLFTEC speed training module adds genuine practice value. Same accuracy as the SkyTrak+ in a current-gen package.

  • Space-Constrained

Beside-the-ball placement works in shallow rooms (10–14 ft). Photometric accuracy without depth requirements.

Not for

  • Cost-Effective Buyer

Same $1,995 as the SkyTrak+ closeout at most retailers, so at list there is no price argument either way — pick the ST MAX for current-model support and warranty. Where there is an argument: PlayBetter has held the SkyTrak+ at $1,495 since early July, and $500 off the same sensor is the cost-effective call while that stock lasts.

  • Showroom

Strong launch monitor but doesn't have the brand cachet of Foresight or Uneekor for premium rooms.

    SkyTrak
    SkyTrak+

Most retailers list this and the current-gen ST MAX at the same $1,995, and at that price the ST MAX is the better buy. The closeout's advantage is retailer-specific rather than gone: PlayBetter has held it at $1,495 since early July, which is $500 off the same sensor platform while residual stock lasts.
