$1,699+ $494/yr · Foresight+ membership required for course play: Silver $199/yr or Gold $599/yr, plus a Course Pass at $295-$595/yr. Roughly $500-$1,200/yr all-in. Not on GSPro's official supported list.

Foresight's entry launch monitor, relaunched in October 2026 at $1,699. Two high-speed cameras photograph the ball through impact and measure ball speed, launch, spin and carry rather than estimating them from flight — the same optical approach as Foresight's GC3 and GCQuad, without their club data. Works in a garage, into a net outdoors, or on the range. Course play runs through a Foresight+ membership, which is where most of the five-year cost sits.

Who this is for

Honest match per persona.

Good for

  • Recreational Player

Foresight's camera-measured ball data at the entry price, with course play on Foresight's own software. Budget for it honestly: courses start around $494 a year (Silver plus a Course Pass), against $299.99 for SkyTrak's Core: Foresight tier on an ST MAX at the same $1,695-$1,699 sticker.

  • Space-Constrained

Sits beside the ball and measures at impact, so it works in rooms where radar units need 16 feet or more of depth — and it goes outdoors, so a small garage setup can go to the range too.

Not for

  • Cost-Effective Buyer

The hardware is $1,699, but course play needs a Foresight+ membership plus a Course Pass — roughly $500–$1,200 a year — so over five years it costs more than an ST MAX on Core: Foresight or a Square Golf Omni with no subscription at all. Cheap only if you will stay on the range.

  • Performance Seeker

Ball data only — Foresight lists no club data for the 2026 GC2, so no club path, face angle or angle of attack. Serious practice wants those, and the GC3 measures them.

  • Showroom

Foresight's entry unit. A premium room is better served by the GC3, the GCQuad, or the overhead Falcon.

Most retailers now list the current-gen ST MAX at $1,695 against this closeout's $1,995, so the newer unit is both cheaper and the better buy. The closeout's advantage is retailer-specific rather than gone: PlayBetter has sold it at $1,195 since late August 2026, with a free first year of Foresight course play — $500 under the ST MAX for the same sensor platform while residual stock lasts.
