VX vs EYE XO2

Both are overhead photometric launch monitors, but they are not priced to compete — the XO2 lists $10,999 to the VX's $6,500, a $4,499 gap. What that money buys is worth naming precisely, because it is not more measured data.

On core data the two are close. The ProTee VX reads 24 ball and club metrics with measured spin, plus full club delivery — path, face, attack angle — using no marked balls and no stickers. The XO2's three-camera array is excellent, but its club data requires Uneekor's reflective stickers, a per-session step the VX skips. Both read both-handed players without recalibration.

Where the XO2 earns its premium is the hitting zone — 28 x 21 inches, far larger than the VX — plus the flagship Uneekor name and the Club Optix impact video its included Player package brings. The catch is recurring cost, and it is bigger than it looks: the Player tier covers the range and full data but not course play, so playing anything at all means Uneekor Pro at $199/yr, roughly $1,000 over five years, and GSPro or E6 sit on top of that at their own price. The VX carries no subscription and integrates tightly with GSPro, so on either unit GSPro's $250/yr is the shared cost and the Pro tier is the Uneekor surcharge.

Unless you specifically want the oversized zone or are committed to Uneekor, the VX delivers the same measured data for $4,499 less, and the gap widens every year you would otherwise pay Uneekor Pro.
