Comparison

Falcon vs GCQuad

A side-by-side look at how the Foresight Sports Falcon and Foresight Sports GCQuad compare on specs, accuracy, room requirements, and price. No hype — just the parts of the decision a buyer actually weighs.

Side-by-side comparison

Bottom line

Same Quadrascopic four-camera data, different mounts: the GCQuad ($15,999) sits beside the ball and goes outdoors; the Falcon ($16,999) mounts on the ceiling for right- and left-handed players with nothing to move. If you were comparing the GCQuad with the GCHawk, this is that comparison now — Foresight no longer sells the GCHawk and points its buyers to the Falcon.

Foresight retired the GCHawk, its $19,999 ceiling unit, and its own GCHawk page now sends shoppers to the Falcon. So the old 'floor or ceiling' question inside Foresight's top tier is GCQuad or Falcon, and the price gap shrank from $4,000 to $1,000: the GCQuad is $15,999 and the Falcon $16,999 at most retailers. Foresight sells the Falcon directly for $15,999, and Amazon has listed the GCQuad for less than its usual price.

The measurement is the same family. Both use Foresight's Quadrascopic four-camera system with full club delivery data; the Falcon lists path, face, attack angle, dynamic loft, impact location and closure rate. The difference is where the cameras live. The GCQuad is a floor unit beside the ball, so it works indoors and outdoors and moves to the range, but a left-handed player means moving it. The Falcon is indoor-only and mounted overhead, needs a 9.5 ft mount height (10.5 ft preferred) about 4 ft in front of the hitting surface, and reads both sides with nothing to move. Its 59 by 28 inch hitting zone is the largest of any ceiling unit.

Software costs the same on either. Course play runs on a Foresight+ membership plus a Course Pass, roughly $500 to $1,200 a year, and GSPro needs Foresight+ Gold at $599 a year on top of GSPro's own $250. The GCQuad's putting analysis is a $2,500 add-on.

Buy the GCQuad if the unit has to travel or you play outdoors. Buy the Falcon for a dedicated room with the ceiling height, especially if more than one hand of golfer uses it.

Which to pick, by buyer

Dedicated sim room, 9.5 ft+ ceiling, mixed-handed players
Foresight Falcon. Overhead, both-handed with nothing to move, and the largest ceiling hitting zone.
Need it outdoors or at the range too
Foresight GCQuad. The floor unit travels; the Falcon is indoor-only.
Was shopping the GCHawk
Foresight Falcon. Foresight's own GCHawk page now points to it, at $3,000 less than the GCHawk listed.

Who each one is better for

Honest persona fit, side by side.

Better for Falcon

  • Family Setup

Ceiling mount means no repositioning between right and left-handed players. The 59"×28" hitting zone accepts off-center stances and casual swings, more forgiving than narrower units.
