MLM2XPRO

$900+ $200/yr · Rapsodo Core ($199.99/yr) for courses, all 15 metrics and third-party software; Studios ($399.99/yr) adds 4K courses on PC

Rapsodo's successor to the MLM2PRO, on sale from October 15, 2026 at $899.99. Like the MLM2PRO it is a Doppler radar with two cameras that sits on a tripod behind the ball, and it adds putting to simulator play. It needs Rapsodo's new app; the MLM2PRO app does not work with it. Of its 15 metrics, ball speed, club speed, launch angle and direction, angle of attack and club path are measured. Spin rate and spin axis are measured only with Rapsodo's RPT balls (a dozen come in the box) and only in Net mode. Carry, total, apex and descent are calculated. The membership decides what you get. The free tier shows 11 metrics and saves 100 shots. Core at $199.99 a year unlocks all 15 metrics, Rapsodo's 30,000-plus courses, the PC app and third-party software — Rapsodo says Core is required for GSPro, E6 and Awesome Golf. Studios at $399.99 a year adds a 4K course library on a Windows PC. As of October 18, 2026, GSPro and Awesome Golf list the MLM2PRO but not this model, and TruGolf names Rapsodo only as a brand. Rapsodo says the GSPro connection works as it did before; until the software makers list the MLM2XPRO, treat third-party play as Rapsodo's claim.

Who this is for

Honest match per persona.

Good for

  • Recreational Player

Rapsodo's course library, putting in sim play, and the same behind-the-ball setup for everyone. Core at $199.99 a year is what turns it from a range tool into a simulator, so budget for it.

  • Cost-Effective Buyer

$899.99 for measured launch, club path and attack angle, plus measured spin with RPT balls. The MLM2PRO does most of the same for less while it is still sold, and both need Core for course play — the case for this one is the newer app and putting.

  • Family Setup

It sits behind the ball, so left- and right-handed players share it without moving anything; handedness is a setting in the app. Rapsodo says Core adds a second golfer profile and Studios three more.

Not for

  • Performance Seeker

Spin needs RPT balls and reads only in Net mode, carry and apex are calculated, and club data stops at speed, path and attack angle. Rapsodo also says club data does not pass through to GSPro.

  • Showroom

A $900 tripod unit behind the golfer does not anchor a premium room.

  • Space-Constrained

Rapsodo asks for 7.5 ft behind the ball and 8 ft in front of it — just over 15 ft of depth. A side-of-ball camera unit like the Square Golf Home needs less.
