The throw is 0.79:1 rather than ultra-short, which Optoma positions deliberately: it is built for roughly 12 ft of depth throwing a 130 to 150-inch screen, where its ultra-short sibling is for tight rooms. Same DuraCore 30,000-hour laser, same published input lag of 16.7 ms at 4K/60 and 8.6 ms at 1080p/120, same Golf Sim Lens and colour mode. This is the projector for a room with windows, or one big enough that brightness has to cover real screen area.
